No plans were attached to any of these leases. It will however be
observed that their combined areas exceeded that of the original
lot by 43,582 square feet or practically 1 acre.
The boundaries of Inland Lot 609-D, which is
the one now under consideration, were stated to be as follows:-

The lot itself, as nearly as it can be deter-
-mined from the above information, is shown coloured pink on plan No. 1 and its area as calculated from this plan is in agreement with that stated in the lease, namely 48,600 square feet.

Since the lease of Inland Lot 609-D was issued
two portions of the lot, designated Sections A and B, have been
severed from it. These sections do not however affect the matter
now under consideration except in so far as Section R, which consists of a road formed by the omers and subsequently taken
over by Government as a public road, cuts off a portion of the
lot which, owing to its small width, is practically useless. The two sections in question are shown on the plan by cross-hatching in blue and brown colour respectively.

The mountain stream which formed the Western
boundary of the lot has disappeared and the only trace that
remains of it is a culvert under Bonham Road at the point Larked
A on plan.
